Avalanche hit climber lost

THE search for a climber caught up in an avalanche in Scotland has been called off with him still missing.

His climbing partner had a “lucky escape”.

The search for Andrew Vine, 41, from Manchester, took place on 4,006ft high Aonach Mor – two miles north east of Ben Nevis.
