Second hoax bomb found outside home
Knowth Court
RESIDENTS were evacuated from their houses for the second time in less than two weeks due to a suspected pipe bomb.
Homeowners in the Poppintree part of Ballymun in North Dublin were told to leave their properties at around 8.30pm on Saturday.
The Knowth Court area of the estate was sealed off with the Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit on site for several hours.
The Irish Mirror understands the same house was targeted on February 19 with a suspected pipe bomb left in the garden.
Gardai said yesterday: “A device was located in the garden of a house.
“EOD arrived and after examination of the device, it was declared a hoax.”
