IT’S NOT ALL OBA YET

-

MICHAEL OBAFEMI is demanding a response from Southampton team-mates after this poor showing.

The Saints are well clear of the drop zone, but their goalscorer wants them to finish the campaign strongly.

Obafemi (right) said: “We got the equaliser and unfortunately the game drifted away. The equaliser was a good finish, but it was a shame it did not mean anything. “We are looking onwards and upwards. We need to win as many games as possible and it starts next week against Newcastle. “Confidence is key. We are coming to the end of the season and have to pick up as many points as possible.” Obafemi, 19, only burst on to the scene this term and now has three career goals. He added: “This is my first proper season and I have enjoyed every minute and I am looking forward to more games I can play this year.”
