HIGH-FIVE TRUMP JOINS GREATS

JUDD TRUMP joined an elite group with a recordequalling fifth ranking title of the season last night.

The world No.1 (right) beat Chinese rising star Yan Bingtao 10-4 to win the Players Championship in Southport.

That means reigning world champion Trump, 30, has matched a feat previously achieved only by Stephen Hendry, Ronnie O’sullivan, Mark Selby and Ding Junhui.

Trump said: “That makes me very proud, the last two years with all I have won have been very exciting.”
