TV star expecting baby after getting pregnant while on dancing show

FORGET about the Strictly Curse – Glenda Gilson got pregnant while training for RTE’S hit show Dancing With The Stars last year.
The Ireland AM presenter has revealed she is due her second child in October.
And the glamorous mum to 19-month-old Bobby said both her and husband Rob are over the moon at the good news.
Glenda, 39, added: “It was nice to have this time alone to process it because at the start of the pregnancy I was so sick and I was doing live television.
“That happened the last time with Bobby as well and I was doing Ireland’s Got Talent and I was extremely sick.
“It is exactly two years and the baby is due the same week Bobby was due which is bizarre but my head was in a different space this time around.
“I was dancing and the anxiety of the live show and my body was doing things I never thought possible so thankfully it was early days in the show and I didn’t have to think about it.

“Myself and Rob are absolutely thrilled and I have to say that being in lockdown for me has been OK because I got to hide away and I am not feeling the best, so I can slob around with no make-up and a white face.
“And because I am not flat out at work, that has made it a bit easier although everyone on Ireland AM have been brilliant and have worked around me.”
Glenda said she is looking forward to some of the restrictions being lifted and hopes eventually her husband will be able to accompany her to hospital appointments.
She added: “I have been going in and out and Rob had to leave me in the car park which was tough.”
Glenda said she is going to keep working on Ireland AM for the duration of the pregnancy, adding she’s just going to try and enjoy life.
She said:“bobby will have a brother or sister for Christmas and as my mum keeps saying he won’t know what has hit him.
“This little baby is coming along but it will be great that there isn’t a big gap between them and everything is still fresh. We feel so blessed and lucky.”
