Well plaid, Carl Comedy genius Reiner dies in Hollywood at 98

HERE’S Kim Kardashian riding high after becoming a billionair­e thanks to a mega business deal.

The 39-year-old reality TV star has sold a 20% stake in KKW Beauty to US cosmetic giant Coty for €178million. The move put the value of her business at $1billion (€898million).

She was pictured horse riding in Wyoming with husband Kanye West by her side.

North’s seventh birthday, along with their other kids Saint, four, Chicago, two, and 13-month-old Psalm. Kanye paid tribute to his wife’s achievemen­ts.

He wrote: “I am so proud of my beautiful wife Kim for officially becoming a billionair­e.”

Kim said of the deal: “This relationsh­ip will allow me to focus on the creative elements that I’m so passionate about.”

It comes after singer Beyonce was also pictured horse riding.

COMEDY legend Carl Reiner, who created The Dick Van Dyke Show, has died at the age of 98.

He became known in the UK in the early 1960s when he played Alan Brandy alongside Dick Van Dyke in the hit American sitcom.

Younger fans will know him as the voice of Carl Reinerocer­os in Toy Story 4 and as Saul Bloom in Ocean’s 11, Twelve and Thirteen. He also directed and co-wrote four of Steve Martin’s films, including Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid and The Jerk.

Born and raised in the Bronx, he and got his start in Broadway musicals and his big break came in 1950 with the sketch show Your Show of

Shows. He won nine Emmys and had 400 credits as a producer, director, and actor.

Reiner died of natural causes on Monday at his home in Beverly Hills.

His son, Stand By Me filmmaker Rob Reiner, tweeted: “My heart is hurting. He was my guiding light.”

M*A*S*H star Alan Alda said: “His talent will live on for a long time.” Mia Farrow called him “brilliant”.

Reiner’s actress wife Estelle Lebost delivered the famous “I’ll have what she’s having...” line in When Harry Met Sally.
