Sssurprise in woman’s loo

- BY WILLIAM DUNNE

A COLORADO woman said she was “terrified” when she looked into her toilet and saw a snake coming up from the drain.

Miranda Stewart said: “We’re thinking it was a possible pet from one of the tenants from our apartment complex.”

TEN dogs believed to have been stolen were seized during a Garda operation.

A house in Rathkeale, Co Limerick, was raided at 7pm last Saturday.

Gardai found Labradors, Springer Spaniels, English Setters, Cavalier King Charles and huskies with no licenses or proper identification papers at the

Springer Spaniel

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel property. Sgt Ber Leetch said: “We are advising everyone to take precautions for their dog’s safety.

“For your dog’s security, I would recommend they are microchipped so that they can be easily identified if found and returned to the owner.”

If you recognise your dog in the photographs then please call Newcastle West Garda station on 069 20650
