Irish Water in €784m boost after update

AN update into Irish Water’s Capital Investment Plan was published by the Commission for Regulation of Utilities.

The document sets out the total allowed revenue that the authority can receive, through Government grants and support as well as from customers.

The €4.5million funding included in the plan and listed expenditur­e relates to its incurred costs from this year up until 2024.

CRU chairwoman Aoife Mcevilly said yesterday: “The CRU has updated the Revenue Control allowing an additional €784million to Irish Water for capital expenditur­e.”
