BIG BUZZ FOR BEES’ STARS

- BY DARREN LEWIS and JOHN CROSS

TOTTENHAM want Brentford star Said Benrahma and Crystal Palace are keen on his team-mate Ollie Watkins.

Benrahma, Bryan Mbeumo and Watkins – the BMW strike-force – scored 58 goals between them to shoot the Bees to the brink of the Premier League.

And with Benrahma (right) determined to play in the top flight, it means Brentford will now listen to offers for one of their prize assets.

West Ham are also big admirers of the playmaker, 24, who scored 17 goals in the Championship and made eight assists last term. But the Hammers are facing a cash crisis and need to strengthen their back line, meaning Spurs could steal a march.

Brentford put a £25million price tag on Benrahma, but Spurs would like to pay £16m. Leeds and Aston Villa are also keen.

Watkins, 24, has an £18m buyout clause and Palace want the striker, who got 26 goals as the Bees made the play-off final.
