‘Bottle threat’ to workers in shop horror
Dublin robbery
TWO men armed with a broken bottle have allegedly threatened staff in a terrifying robbery.
The incident happened in a shop on Dorset Street Lower in Dublin city centre at around 9pm on Sunday.
The pair entered the convenience store with the weapon and allegedly threatened staff before leaving with items from the shop.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
A man in his late teens arrested during follow-up searches was charged with robbery and appeared in court yesterday.
Gardai said a juvenile who was also arrested was released pending “a referral to the Youth Diversion Programme”.
