Good on my buddy Maura
I SEE my buddy Maura Derrane is taking a step back from the Today Show with Daithi O Se.
She wants to spend more time with son, Cal, and good for her.
Maura and her husband had been living in Dungarvan, Co Waterford, when he was a TD.
But he quit last January and decided not to stand for re-election and the family have moved back to Dublin.
The Today Show is filmed live from the Cork studios.
Maura will do three shows a week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The lovely Sinead Kennedy will replace her on Monday and Tuesday.
I am looking forward to being a guest once again when the new season kicks off next week.
