Man run over 5 times in a car park dies

A MURDER inquiry has been launched after a man was run over five times in an Iceland car park.

The 47-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene in Dagenham, East London, late on Sunday night.

A man who did not want to be named said: “I heard someone groaning. I went to the window and saw him on the ground. Then I saw a car run over him. It reversed and went ‘bang’ over him again.

“I was so shocked I couldn’t believe it.”

Some locals said a burnt out BMW was found nearby, but police have not confirmed if it was the car involved.
