Elton’s creative juices

-

Kylie Minogue has wine, David Beckham has whisky and George Clooney had tequila.

Now teetotal couple Sir Elton John and David Furnish have produced a showbiz beverage: a non-alcoholic apple juice.

Their “first vintage” is named Woodside, after their Old Windsor estate, and it comes from apples from their orchard.

The pop star’s estate, which spans 37 acres, includes eight acres of woodlands and a veg patch where he grew a prize-winning pumpkin.

It’s surprising they have space for apple trees between the several manicured gardens, with a tram carriage that cost €1million to ship from Australia, a T-rex model (gifted by Beatles star Ringo Starr) and a stable in the shape of Windsor Castle.

A source says the couple have no commercial plans for Woodside yet, but there is already an A-list waiting list. Victoria Beckham is desperate for a sample, as is Elizabeth Hurley.

Sir Elton celebrated 30 years sober in July.
