IAN TAYLOR believes their great escape will inspire Aston Villa this season.

The 52-year-old club legend, who wore a Villa shirt from 1993 to 2003, says a series of new signings, including £28million striker Ollie Watkins, will make the difference. “We still have the euphoria of staying up and now are adding to the squad,” Taylor (above) said ahead of tonight’s Carabao Cup tie at Burton Albion.
