Virgin Media is tuned into green power

A COMPLETELY renewable energ y supply has been secured by Virgin Media Ireland.

The a g re ement with Naturgy Ireland will power th e broadcaster’s main offices, contact centre, TV studios, data centres and r e g i o n a l t r a n s mi s s i o n sites across Ireland.

It will also support the c o m p a n y ’ s o n g o i n g commitments in reducing i t s carbon f ootprint t o tackle climate change.

Peter Mccarthy, VP of L e g a l a n d C o r p o r a t e Affairs, said: “Across Virgin Media, we’re l ooking at where our energy comes from and whether there’s a greener alternative.”
