Britney Spears has just lost a legal battle to end her father’s conservatorship – the one that’s been in place since her infamous 2007 breakdown.

But that wasn’t the reason superfans have been terrified for her wellbeing of late. No, it was something far more alarming. Britney had – brace yourselves – completely disappeared ( Oh my gosh!) and not been seen ( gasp!) for two weeks ( Oh no!)... on Instagram.

( Er, what?)

Yep, the Toxic singer actually had to post a video this week to prove she was alive and well, just because she took a fortnight off social media.

It’s great the fans care, but the poor girl probably just needed a bit of good old- fashioned ( my) space.
