Keeping soap scum to a minimum is the way to keep a shower clean. I keep a shower squeegee and it has made a big difference, I simply wipe down the tiles after a shower. Q

No. Find the source of the leak. It may be something simple, such as a damp proof course being bridged by soil outside.

I have old buff paving around my home. Would paint revive it? Alan Hartley, Coventry

There’s no paint that will last, even the paint councils use for road markings doesn’t last. I advise a stiff s bristle brush and soapy water.
