Donegal duo step up level

DONEGAL had a huge win over Tyrone in a game that could have gone either way.

Declan Bonner will be delighted to see others step up to the plate for Donegal on a day when Micheal Murphy and Ryan Mchugh were very well marshalled.

They now have two new leaders and match- winners in Michael Langan and Ciaran Thompson who scored an immense 1- 9 between them.

Donegal won this game with their reaction to Darragh Canavan’s opportunist goal in the 42nd minute. Four different players scored from play in the next six minutes.

Tyrone squandered some great goal chances, and 12 wides, even in tough conditions, was costly.

Donegal were more economical in front of goal and their superior physicality y got g them over the line.
