LENNY: THE GLOVES ARE OFF

-

NEIL LENNON admits he may have to get tough again on sloppy Celtic stars as it’s his head on the chopping block if they don’t buck up.

The under- fire Parkhead manager admits there needs to be a change in culture amongst the group and has vowed to cut through the “malaise.”

Lennon’s management style has changed since his first spell in charge with a more calm approach.

However, after the lackadaisical and catastrophic collapse against Sparta Prague, the Celtic boss accepts he might have to alter his ways and crack the whip to avoid any repeat.

Lennon ( left) said: “I might have to revert back a little bit.

“If I am going to get performances like I did against Sparta Prague, then yeah because it will be my head that is on the block. I’ve got to cut the malaise. It’s my job to nip it in the bud.”

Lennon now takes his troops to Motherwell tomorrow with the spotlight and scrutiny firmly slammed onto his team.

Celtic are already nine points behind in the flag fight and Lennon said: “It’s important to win as we have a bit of catching up to do in the league.”
