MITRO IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT

SCOTT PARKER is confident Aleksandar Mitrovic can be a driving force in Fulham’s battle for Premier League survival.

Parker says the Serbian striker ( both above) has already bounced back from his penalty miss against Sheffield United, which blew the chance of victory two weeks ago.

On Monday, Mitrovic set up two goals against West Brom to help Fulham to their first win of the season.

And Cottagers boss Parker said: “Mitro would be first to say he was disappointed with his performance against Sheffield United. He takes a lot on himself, which top players do.

“Since then, he has been a driver and a credit. He has been at the forefront. You saw that on Monday – he has been first class.”
