SOUMILLON COVID BLOW

CHRISTOPHE SOUMILLON has been ruled out of the Breeders’ Cup after testing positive for Covid- 19.

The Belgian had been due to partner the fancied Tarnawa for his boss, the Aga Khan, in the Breeders’ Cup Turf, as well as Breeders’ Cup Mile outsider Order Of Australia for

Aidan O’brien at Keeneland tonight. But

Soumillon ( right), who partnered Tarnawa to back- to- back victories in the Group 1 Prix Vermeille and Prix de l’opera at Longchamp this season, will miss both mounts after his test was the only one from the 55 jockeys due riding at the big- money fixture to return positive.

Tarnawa’s trainer Dermot Weld, who confirmed that Soumillon’s place would be
