NATHAN Carter has revealed he’s singing White Christmas with Tubs on tonight’s Late Late Country Special.

Dolly Parton, Daniel O’donnell and Una Healy lead the muchanticipated line- up, with Margo O’donnell, Philomena Begley and Mike Denver also gearing up for a great night.

Nathan told the Irish Mirror: “I’m singing with Ryan at the end of the show, he sang King Of The Road with Daniel O’donnell one year.

“Ryan does a bit of Rat Pack stuff, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra kind of thing. We’re going to sing White Christmas... so it should be a bit of craic.

“I’m not nervous, I feel very lucky that I’ve been on the Late Late Show many times, so it feels like my second home at this stage.

“I’m just singing the one song. I’m so glad as people are probably fed up of seeing me on the Late Late.

“I’m just singing at the end with Ryan. People can sit back and relax knowing they won’t have to look at me for too long.” The restrictions

MUSIC SPECIAL Nathan Carter and Una Healy join tonight’s line- up mean the vibe will be different for the iconic show.

The 30- year- old Liverpudlian said: “It’s all social distance this year and the singers are in at different times, so we probably won’t end up seeing half the people on it which is a bit of a shame as it’s usually a bit of a get- together for the people in the business.

“I’m looking forward to it and seeing Dolly Parton, it’s a great coup for RTE to get her on board.

“I understand country isn’t a mainstream genre in Ireland.

“But at the same time you look at Garth Brooks, how many tickets he sold for his shows in Croke Park that never went ahead.

“Country is huge in Ireland and the figures speak for themselves.

“If anyone slags it off, I say RTE wouldn’t be putting it on unless the figures were big.”

Nathan heaped praise on

78- year- old Philomena Begley who is still performing despite enduring health problems this year.

He said: “Philomena is some woman, she’s unbelievable, so much determination. In her head she’s still young, that keeps that age group alive – they don’t act their age.”
