ROZ Purcell has revealed she is back in therapy – with her anxiety “the worst it has ever been”.

It c omes af t er t he f ormer Miss Universe Ireland beauty suffered backlash online over sizing issues with her new clothing range The Hike Life.

When asked by a f ollower i f she had ever struggled with anxiety or depression, the Tipperary star revealed she’s currently battling mental illness.

And she admitted she hasn’t been coping well recently.

On Instagram, the 30- year- old wrote: “Anxiety ya. Currently back in therapy.

“I wasn’t coping ver y well i n the past month.

“I didn’t realise how much I relied on external things to keep me calm ( if that makes sense).

“And then the l ast two weeks just derailed me. Probably the worst it’s ever been.

“But I know the benefits of therapy and getting help so hopeful it’s going to make a big difference.”

The model turned food and fitness guru is widely praised for her honesty about mental health and body positivity on her online platforms.

But after she was forced to apologise to fans and followers in recent weeks after facing an onslaught of criticism regarding the sizing of her new clothing collection, she said she will try to learn from her mistakes.

Addressing the w h i c h i n c l u d e d i ssue at the time, c o mpl a i n t s t h e range wasn’t “inclusive” enough , a t ear y Roz said: “I realise there are a lot of people who feel di sappointed and l et down and I completely understand that.

“W h e n I f i r s t announced I was doing The Hike Life gear, the initial drop was to go up to a size 20 and then moving on from that, the brand would go beyond a size 20.

“When the sizing samples arrived two weeks ago, all the sizing seemed fine but the 18- 20 and the 16- 18 were just too small.

“It’s not even that they were a snug f it, they j ust weren’t true to si ze. I o b v i o u s l y d i d n ’ t c o m m u n i c a t e t h a t message well enough.

“Hindsight is a great thing.

“I feel really stupid and inconsiderate that I didn’t actually just, yeah it might have been after Christmas it might have been the new year, but t o actually j ust wait until everything was together, and I apologise for that.”

The Natural Born Feeder author added: “It’s made me really think as someone who’s always worn straight sizes that if I do want The Hike Life brand to be inclusive I need to do better.”
