Let’s all break into a smile

-

DO not call it breakdancing, its pioneers and star performers will not be happy.

It is breaking and its practitioners are b- boys ( break- boys) and b- girls.

In breaking, there are, essentially, four kinds of movement – top rock, down rock, power moves and freezes. But you probably y knew that a already.

B- boys and b- girls will top rock and freeze for an Olympic medal at Paris 2024 and that has caused a bit of a stir, especially among those officials from other sports who have not been awarded recognition. Squash, in particular, has a thoroughly understandable grievance.

But, hey, given the time the world is having right now, no one should have the hump about someone dancing on the world’s biggest sporting stage.

Forget the gripes, this is a welcome rarity in these days... good breaking news.

LOVELY gesture by Bill Kenwright to give away his two directors’ seats at Goodison Park for the upcoming games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City.

Mind you, he has seen Everton’s last three home games. Not daft, our Bill.

GEORGE RUSSELL led for a lot of laps of the Bahrain Grand Prix last Sunday.

A pat on the back, well deserved. But it was hardly unexpected, was it?

It was not as though Mercedes were we putting Maureen from fr Driving School into Lewis Hamilton’s seat.

Russell had an enjoyable e free hit.

Hamilton ( left) has bee been doing it – and winning – under pressure for 265 races over 13 years and seven World Championship victories.

That is what marks him down as a great – not a few flying laps.

IT seems as though Qatar will allow rainbow flags to be flown at World Cup 2022.

Well, I guess it’s a start. You never know, not throwing people who have gay sex into prison might be next.
