WE’RE DOOMED WITHOUT FRESH BLOOD SAYS SAM
WORRIED West Brom boss Sam Allardyce believes Baggies are in greater need of new players than any other Premier League side.
The former England manager is desperate to delve into the transfer market with the Baggies having ha not won in EIGHT games, ga five since he took charge. cha And the weekend’s dismal dism FA Cup defeat by
League Lea One Blackpool understandably unde gave
Allardyce Alla reason for grave concern. conc “We need to make the squad better,” stressed Allardyce.
“I think we need players in more than anybody else in the Premier League Leag to give us a chance of moving out of the position we’re in.
“We’ve W let Charlie Austin go to
QPR, QPR so that creates another opening in terms of finances to find a centreforward. We’re looking at other areas once we’ve secured a centre- forward. Certainly up front is the big one. We need one or maybe two front- men.
“We need to get out in the market to get those players to give us the opportunity to score more.”
And Allardyce revealed he is keen to sign Bournemouth hitman Josh King ( left) so long as the price is right.
“If he is in our price range then we’d be interested in him, but if he’s not then we won’t be,” admitted Allardyce, who has already recruited Scotland international midfielder Robert Snodgass as part of his Hawthorns rebuilding plans.
“Everybody knows what we need to do, we need to move players in this window and bring in players.”
