CONOR Mcgregor is being sued by a mother and daughter in a multi-million euro personal injury lawsuit, it has emerged.

The claim was lodged on Monday in the courts by a young woman who has known the UFC fighter for many years.

A second, smaller personal injuries claim has been lodged by the woman’s mother.

Dublin-based solicitor David Coleman, who is representing the two women, said he could not comment in detail on the matter as it is before the courts but added: “Coleman Legal Partners are representing both women and that is all we can say at present.”

The circumstances of the allegations made in the claims cannot be currently disclosed for legal reasons.

The alleged incidents were previously investigated at length by gardai but the Director of Public

Prosecutions did not proceed with any charges.

Mcgregor’s spokeswoman Karen J Kessler told the Irish Mirror: “After an exhaustive investigation conducted by the gardai which, in addition to interviews of the plaintiff, included interviewing numerous sources, obtaining witnesses’ statements, examining closed circuit footage and the cooperation of Conor Mcgregor, these allegations were categorically rejected.

“The plaintiff knows the facts contradict the assertions in this lawsuit. Mr Mcgregor will dispute any claims and is confident that justice will prevail.”

The filing of the lawsuits come just days before the father of two’s first UFC bout in a year on Sunday against American Dustin Poirier in Abu Dhabi.

Mcgregor is estimated to be worth €148million due to various investments, including his Proper

Twelve whiskey.

The 32-year-old has had several brushes with the law – in Ireland and the United States.

In November 2018 he was hit with a six-month driving ban and a €1,000 fine for motoring offences in Co Kildare.

And in November 2019, he admitted punching a man in a pub in Drimnagh, South Dublin.

The incident happened on April 6 – three days after Mcgregor had criminal charges against him in the US dropped.

Prosecutors in Miami, Florida dropped the case against the fighter over an incident in March days before his trial was due to start.
