IT was a week to remember for beauty boss Pamela Laird after making her debut in Vogue magazine.

The Irish entrepreneur and Apprentice star is the founder of beauty brand Moxi Loves.

And she admitted she couldn’t believe her eyes this week when she spotted her product Moxi Loves Powder Pod Cleanser featured in a piece in the prestigious periodical.

She said: “Trying not to panic but... it’s VOGUE,” Referencing The Office, she added: “#ohmygoditshappening”

SOMETIMES – if I may mix metaphors for a moment – the proof of the pudding comes straight from the horse’s mouth.

Whatever you think about the decisions that Prince Harry has made, and the way he has gone about implementing them, watching his appearance on James Corden’s show one thing was simply undeniable. He’s happy.

Away from over-choreographed photo shoots and Zoom appearances

every bit as awkward as the rest of ours, it was great to see him talking naturally. As they say in his former life in the military, at ease.

He seems like a man with the weight of the world lifted from his shoulders – laughing, joking, excited about his future. Surely even his most critical

detractors must be grudgingly pleased that at least the historic moves he made were not for nothing.

Admittedly, it was also bittersweet, seeing Harry like this and being reminded of who he really is and why we had such warm feelings towards him in the first place. He would have

been – was – such a great asset to the Royal Family, especially with Meghan by his side.

It’s really hard not to wish that things were different.

But it’s probably better all round if, instead, we just concentrate on wishing him well.

A BRAZEN monkey drove Dublin Zoo staff bananas last night as it escaped from his enclosure.

The Sulawesi crested became a media sensation as videos circulated of its exploits.

A Dublin Zoo spokesman said: “We can confirm a Sulawesi crested macaque temporarily moved from its habitat last night and was returned a short time later. The

macaque animal remained on the grounds of Dublin Zoo at all times.”

Gardai were alerted to the incident shortly after a photo was posted on Twitter showing a squad car at the edge of the zoo. A spokesman said: “As far as we are aware, the monkey is still on zoo property”.

And it isn’t the first time this species attempted to make a break for it, with a trio of cheeky chimps leaving their enclosure after Storm Ophelia blew the roof off their enclosure in 2017.

JENNIFER Zamparelli has opened up on husband Lau’s job as a stuntman.

The RTE star might have an interesting and varied job herself as a radio presenter but it turns out her day job seems tame when compared with her hubby. Many listeners of her 2fm show will be unaware that the presenter’s husband actually works as a stunt co-ordinator and a stunt performer.

And speaking on her show yesterday morning, Jennifer told listeners all about Lau’s sometimes dangerous work. She said: “He can fling himself off tall buildings being a stuntman or whatever he likes, but I’m fine and cosy here in my little studio talking to you lot.”

And speaking about the parts of her husband’s job she was most scared of Jennifer revealed:“I’d say setting himself on fire. He set himself fully, like completely head to toe on fire a few times.”

However, ultimately Jennifer added that she has had to make her peace with Lau’s job:

“He has to do stuff like that, that’s what he does you know, he can’t ask for my permission.”
