THIRD-TIER Gillingham overcame Cheltenham to book a Vitality Women’s FA Cup fourth-round trip to 14-time winners Arsenal on Sunday.

The National League South side won 2-1 after extra time to ruin the dreams of the Division One South West side.

Otesha Charles netted the clincher with 112 minutes on the clock after the Gills recovered from trailing to an own goal.

Guyanese forward Charles turned her marker before bursting into the box and slipping the ball past the Cheltenham keeper at her near post. National League North outfit Burnley earned themselves a home tie with Manchester United by knocking out Sunderland on penalties following a 0-0 stalemate.

And Chichester & Selsey will be back in east London to take on West Ham after winning 2-1 at Leyton Orient.

Champions Chelsea kick off the fourth round on Friday night when they host London City Lionesses.

Holders Manchester City are at home to Aston Villa on Saturday with the remaining 14 ties taking place on Sunday.

Derby, Huddersfield,

Middlesbrough, Oxford United, Southampton and Wolves all came through their third-round ties.

Wolves took pride of place, producing a brilliant performance to win 4-1 at Watford.

Jade Cross put them in front before Katie O’leary equalised for Watford just before the break.

But then Wolves took control and progressed with goals from Kelly Darby (above), a penalty by Anna Morphet and a fourth from Jamila Palmer.

Two WSL sides are certain to be bowing out over the weekend as Reading host Tottenham and Bristol City travel to Brighton.
