MAURA Higgins is one of the highest earners from Love Island, it has been revealed.

The Longford-born beauty can earn up to €8,529 for each branded post on social media.

Maura, 30, is fourth on the list of high Love Island earning list while her pal Molly-mae Hague is No1 with €15,000 for just one branded post.

Contestants on the hit Virgin Media reality romance show can end up making fortunes following their turn in the villa with brands lining up to offer endorsement deals and modelling contracts.

Islanders also see a boost to their social media following – with Instagram offering another form of revenue to those who snap up a huge audience.

And a large following on the platform can lead to the easiest money of all – with thousands of euro being offered for posts online.

Online betting agency Topratedcasinos.ie has crunched some numbers to estimate just how much Love Island mega stars can earn via Instagram.

For star couples such as Molly-mae and boxer Tommy Fury, the earning potential for Islanders can be huge once the cameras stop rolling.

MAXIMUM

A spokesperson for Topratedcasinos. ie said: “After finishing in second place on season five of the show, Molly-mae is estimated to earn a maximum of €15,013 for each sponsored Instagram post, thanks to her 5.5 million followers on the platform.

“The second highest earning Islander is Tommy Fury who can rake in a potential €9,422 for sponsored posts made on the Instagram app.

“As the boyfriend of Mollymae, and boasting a huge 3.4 million followers, this power couple are certainly making the most of their fame.”

Dani Dyer, who won Love Island in 2018, is next on the list of highest earners after growing “a massive 3.4 million followers”, she has the potential to earn €9,330 per sponsored post on Instagram.

The spokesperson added: “The 2019 winner Amber Gill is the fifth highest earning star who makes a predicted €7,095 per post thanks to her 2.6 million followers.”

Amber got together with Limerick man Greg O’shea after the show and it’s understood the rugby player has also enjoyed a lucrative time since leaving the Love Island villa two years ago.
