Rte star saw funny side of photo posted to her 117,000 followers
ANNA Geary has broken her silence on her cheeky bum snap that went viral, saying: “We all have an arse.”
The RTE star suffered a social media blunder earlier this year when she accidentally posted an image to her Instagram account, with her backside on show due to some mirrors behind her.
With more than 117,000 followers, it wasn’t long before Anna found herself the butt of the joke as friends and fans messaged her to delete the snap before it went viral.
Despite being left red faced at the time, the Ireland’s Fittest Family coach said she can now see the funny side of her slip.
Explaining how it happened, the GAA star turned TV and radio presenter told the RTE Guide: “The story sounds so made up.
“I had spilled a cup of coffee over myself, took the leggings off, went up to have a shower and posted a story quickly on the landing, completely oblivious to the fact that there’s two mirrors behind me. So I posted the story, none the wiser and went off to have my shower. When I came back down to the kitchen, my phone was hopping.
“I deleted it immediately but still didn’t realise my bum was on show until texts came in from friends.
“I had two choices, I could have made a big deal about it and had a meltdown or see the funny side of it, so I went with the latter.
“Sure, you’d see more skin on the beach.”
