Liam winning over parents

-

THEY’VE had some tough challenges in their seven weeks in a Majorca villa.

But last night the Love Island’s finalists had to endure their hardest one yet... meeting the parents.

After Faye Winter’s f-word-laden outburst at boyfriend Teddy Soares and Liam Reardon playing away with Lillie Haynes during Casa Amor, there should have been some tough conversations.

But luckily for Liam, one person missing was his girlfriend Millie Court’s dad and “best friend” Rob, who was devastated by his dalliances.

He posted at the time: “I wanted to dive into the TV and just cuddle my girl. Mils will shed her tears and it is difficult to helplessly watch.”

Liam was spared a very difficult conversation on national TV as Millie’s mum Esme and sister Jessie took part in last night’s family visit. But it seems the 22-year-old bricklayer’s grovelling to fashion buyer Millie, 24, helped Rob forgive him.

Rob branded “Milliam’s” romantic last date as “Beautiful”. He also posted a pic of a beaming Millie and Liam and urged fans to back them in tonight’s final against Faye and Teddy, Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran and Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank.

Liam’s ex-islander pal Matthew Macnabb told this week’s Mirror Jess Saying Live, Liam won’t stray again, adding: “I can see why people are doubting, but he did change.”

Last night it was revealed Millie’s mum Esme had invited Liam to move into their Essex home. Surely that’s an ITV2 spin-off in the making?
