Saw Doctors’ relief to be back on tour

THE Saw Doctors are to return to the stage as they announced their first tour in five years.

The Galway band, led by songwriters Davy Carton and Leo Moran first hit the charts in 1991 with their hit single N17.

They will play Glasgow Barrowland, the O2 Academy Leeds, London’s O2 Academy Brixton, and Manchester’s O2 Apollo between November 12 and December 2.

Musican Moran said: “What a relief it is to go playing live again after two years of Covid restrictions.”

Tickets for the concerts will go on general sale at 9am on Thursday.
