THIS tasty selection of celebrities will be facing whisks and rewards on The Great British Bake Off.

The 20 stars having their baking skills put to the test by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith include David Schwimmer, 56.

It was revealed the actor will finally have Friends in pie places after pulling out of a previous series.

The celebrity version of the hit show will raise funds for Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

Schwimmer will do battle against a host of famous faces including former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson.

The Mirror’s agony aunt Coleen Nolan will also join comic Ellie Taylor, Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas and Top Gear’s Paddy Mcguinness.

Last year, Hollywood named Schwimmer as the celebrity he would most like to see on the programme. He said the US star had been due to appear a few years ago but had “let us down at the last minute”.

His invite came after he admitted to being a fan of the show.

Schwimmer told the Radio Times in 2020: “It’s competitive, but everyone’s so lovely with each other. It’s so not American!”

Other contestants include Olympic gold medallist Tom Daley plus actors David Morrissey and Jessica Hynes.

The Repair Shop’s Jay Blades, who admits he is a novice in the kitchen, will compete alongside Dragons’ Den star Deborah Meaden, presenter AJ Odudu and TOWIE’S Gemma Collins.

Comics on the show include Tom Davis, Judi Love, Rose Matafeo, Mike Wozniak and Lucy Beaumont.

Radio presenters Tim Key and Adele Roberts complete the line-up.

The programme, which is due to launch next month, has been prerecorded with co-presenter Matt Lucas making his final appearance alongside Noel Fielding.

Each week, four celebrities will go head-to-head over two days.

They will tackle signature, technical and showstopper challenges in a bid to be named Star Baker, while also raising funds for cancer research.

The Stand Up To Cancer campaign has raised €105million.
