KEITH Duffy has revealed he lost 15 kilos in just 12 weeks by ditching the booze, dieting and the help of a personal trainer.

The singer took to social media to tell of his weight loss journey after admitting to feeling “depressed” and “self-conscious” earlier on this year.

The ex-boyzone star, 48, decided he was going to take care of himself ahead of his recent Boyzlife tour with former Westlife singer Brian Mcfadden.

He wrote on Instagram: “On the 1st of Feb I was 103kg and felt depressed, self-conscious and down in myself.

“About 12 weeks away I decided to fight all the demons and take care of myself.

“With the help, support and guidance of my pal Paul Byrne... I started a 12 -week program of training, diet and no booze.

“I got to 88kg, never felt better in my life, got my mojo back and I’ve lived and loved every step of the tour which finished last night.”

The married father-of-two was full of praise for Byrne, of Body Byrne Training, whom he credited for getting himself back in shape.

He added: “Thank you yet again for picking me up and believing I’m worth the time and effort.

“We are all worth it. Little stones build huge walls.

“It just takes time, belief, love and kindness.

“Thank you to all you people who continue to support BOYZLIFE and all we do.”

Fans rushed to offer the performer their support on Instagram after the star’s honest account of his weight loss.

Keith’s celebrity well wishers included magician Keith Barry and Irish TV presenter Alan Hughes.

Keith also said his recent tour had been “amazing”.

He added: “So many memories made.

“Thank you so much for the opportunity, the continued support and love. We will see you all soon.”
