In this week's trip to the cobbles, Mike and Esther insist on dropping Summer at the hospital for her scan but agree to wait outside. However, as Summer and Aaron play for time in the hospital, Mike suddenly appears at their side and announces he should attend the scan with Summer, with Summer and Aaron forced to brace themselves to tell Mike the truth.

Desperate to raise the £10K to pay back Mike once he finds out there is no baby anymore, Summer calls Billy, Todd and

Paul together and reveals that she and Aaron plan to go travelling for a year and need £10K.

Sceptical, Billy, Todd and Paul quiz Summer about her plans.

Meanwhile, Mike and Esther tell

Summer and Aaron that they’d be willing to forget the £10k and give them even more money if Summer will agree to be a surrogate for their baby...

However, Billy’s determined to stop

Summer committing to the surrogacy plan at any cost.

And having summoned Mike and Esther, he tries to lay down the law but Mike points out that the decision is Summer’s, not his.

As Billy reveals he intends to report them to the police, how will Summer react?

Elsewhere, Martha breaks the news to Ken that she starts rehearsals on a new play in Hull tomorrow.

Ken’s gutted and, having heard from Brian that Ken made a night of it with Martha, Wendy’s put out.

Unsure whether to follow his head or his heart, Ken’s stunned when Martha suggests he should move to Hull with her.

Later, when Nigel announces that the theatre is flooded and the play cancelled, Ken secures the Bistro, asserting the show must go on.

When one of the leads then breaks a leg, Martha comes to the rescue and offers to take her place. As Martha introduces herself to Wendy she apologises for stealing Ken away from her.

When Wendy reveals that wasn’t the case and she broke up with him, will Martha re-think her future with Ken?

Meanwhile, as Hope listens to her John Stape tape, completely spellbound, Fiz and Tyrone remain unaware.

Later, Tyrone reveals his surprise wedding plans to Kevin and Abi but when he shows them the dress he chose with Gemma, Abi tells him it’s hideous and Fiz will hate it.

Beth agrees to make some alteration­s to the dress in the hope that Fiz will like it — but just look at the picture above! Not even Beth can save this monstrosit­y!

Elsewhere, when Daniel sees a magazine article written by Bethany Platt, Daisy’s unnerved at the mention of his ex.

Inspired, Daniel decides it’s time he started writing again.

And Alya tells Dee-dee that she needs to cut her hours at the solicitors’ to spend more time with her family while Griff presents a thrilled Max with a top-of-therange video camera and tells him he’s now their official videograph­er.

Finally, Daisy reveals that she’s found a lump in her breast and, on Jenny’s advice, she tells a shaken Daniel, who insists he’ll accompany her to the doctors.

Masking his anxiety, Daniel promises to meet Daisy at the medical centre. But as he knocks back drink in the Rovers, Jenny’s horrified to realise he’s let her down.

Announcing that Daisy might have cancer, Daniel staggers out.

Later, Peter persuades him that alcohol isn’t the answer and Daisy needs him by her side offering support.

As Daisy attends her appointmen­t alone, they’re interrupte­d when Daniel throws open the door and staggers in drunk.

Not exactly the type of support she needs now, is it, Daniel?

And that is precisely why no one should take advice from Peter Barlow!

Maxine fears for her little brother when she spots Mason speaking to Eric but Honour has bigger fish to fry as she franticall­y cleans ahead of her sister Mei Lian’s arrival.

Things are tense between Honour and Dave when she doesn’t want to introduce his illegitima­te daughter, Maxine, to her family — and it gets worse when Honour rents a flashy car.

However, when Dave confronts her over her behaviour, she turns the tables on him and admits she knows his ex-wife took out a restrainin­g order against him.

Before he can explain, her family arrive...

Meanwhile, Demarcus asks for Leah, Charlie and Ella’s help in raising money for Vicky so she can see her mum this Christmas.

Leah gives over some cash after selling her late mum’s old jewellery in a bid to impress Demarcus.

But Charlie has nothing to sell so he sets off the fire alarm to steal from the

HOLLYOAKS

school Christmas fair. But realising this is a bad idea, they instead come up with a plan to host a party at Charlie’s house while Nancy is out for the teacher’s Christmas party — and charge at the door.

Elsewhere, Nancy and Sally have their hands full with the Governor's visit at school.

It’s Beau’s first day, and Nancy asks for his help with her neverendin­g to do list.

Sally tells Beau and Nancy that they will have to cancel the teachers party as the venue had to cancel, but Tony suggests they do it at The Dog, and Beau offers to decorate.

Honour and Dave play happy families as she brushes him off and lies to Mei Lian about his profession in a bid to make her look more successful.

Mei Lian confronts Honour for lying to her since they arrived, and Honour opens up about Dave being the biggest liar of all.

But Dave storms off when he overhears Honour talking about how he’s let her down so many times.

ROS na Rún

In the Gaeltacht, Réailtín is suspicious as to how Vera has knowledge of what is happening in Berni’s apartment. Will Réailtín find the hidden camera?

Tadhg scoffs at Bobbi Lee’s plans of organising stag events, but soon changes his tune when he sees how successful Sonia and Crystal’s hen night went.

Mack realises he may be rushing into things too quickly with Sonia and tries to talk to her about it. But will he make matters worse?

Michelle will soon have to face Andy in court. Will Berni side with him?

Later in the week, Réailtín, convinced now that Vera is spying on her, puts a plan in motion to snare her. But will a shrewd Vera fall for it?

Finally, Bobbi Lee is more than confident her stag events will be a success.
