ANGER AND HURT IN CARRIGSTOWN

-

Things are heating up for Mondo and Kira in this week's trip to Carrigstown as a sneaky Kira suggests that Melanie take

Alex to visit Jon in London, all in a bid to get her out of town.

This is after Kira was left hurt when she saw the obvious feelings that Mondo still has for Melanie.

However, Mel is horrified to learn that Alex told Mondo she wants to rekindle things, and that Mondo feels the same.

After the whole debacle, Mondo assures Ray he’s fine and he urges Mondo to reach out to Kira.

However, Mondo is adamant that he wants to move on.

Later, Kira confronts Melanie for her mistreatment of Mondo (that's rich!) and when Mondo sees Kira defending him, he's touched.

Later, he decides to spend

Christmas in Liverpool with Kira after all.

But he also realises that Alex is more affected by his parent’s split than he had let on and decides to confront Jon in London.

He informs Ray of his plans to spend Christmas in the UK before Alex offers Melanie an olive branch by inviting her to stay at Mondo’s while he’s away.

Elsewhere this week, Dean and

Maria voice their concern about Anna’s involvement with Kev as Kev informs Anna that he wants her help with finding a flat of his own, citing trouble at home.

Tensions remain fraught between

Dean and Kev as Dean shares his concerns about Kev with Dearbhla, who insists it’s just a teenage crush, but Dean remains wary.

Later, Anna lets Kev crash on the sofa when he shows up on her doorstep, making Dean uneasy.

Anna later insists Kev stays at her place until he finds a suitable place to live.

But tensions continue to flare between Dean and Kev — and later Joan reveals she has received a text warning her about Kev staying on the premises.

Dean and Anna vouch for Kev, but Anna is convinced that Dean sent Joan the message.

He later begs Anna to be careful with Kev, insisting he’s manipulating her.

And finally, a badly beaten

James appears in an alleyway — who has attacked him?
