■ RTÉ presenter Emer O’neill has said told how Tommy Tiernan phoned her to apologise for a joke he made at a recent comedy gig she was attending in Dublin’svicar Street.

The former Home School Hub presenter walked out of his Tomfoolery show earlier this month after he made a joke that offended her.

O’neill, who shared a post on Instagram last week about the incident, said,“he rang me and we had a good chat for nearly an hour. Genuinely, I could tell he had given it reflection.

“I was shocked he had gotten to this stage, but he said, ‘On reflection, who am I as a middleaged white man to decide what is racist and what is not, what is offensive and what is not to a community that I have absolutely no lived experience in?’ It takes people a long time to get there and do the work to educate themselves to actually have the penny drop.”

Kerry katona has addressed her short-lived romance with Emily In Paris star Lucien Laviscount. The pair met on the eighth season of Celebrity Big Brother, and subsequently started a relationship. They even had a spread in OK! Magazine where they addressed the agegap in their relationship. Kerry was 31, while Lucien was 19. Kerry told the same publication recently, “Lucien was very charming and obviously easy on the eye, and it was all just a bit of fun.”

She went on to applaud his acting credits, and endorsed him following rumours he could be the next actor to take on the role of 007.

A clip of Kate Moss recently did the rounds on Twitter in which she fondly recalled her and Naomi Campbell being“wagons”in Ireland. The supermodel said,“we got a little bit tipsy at a wedding, and I think in Irish ‘wagon’ is drunk. So, basically we were all wagons. Because during that time we were all doing shows, drinking a lot of champagne and calling each other wagon.”do you want to tell her or shall we...?

The 36-year-old, who appeared on the programme in 2010 and reached the quarter finals, said she had retrained in law so that she could take legal action against Syco Entertainment.

She is planning on bringing a civil case of personal injury under negligence against the company, of which Cowell is the director.

Katie said she became a hate figure on the show and received acid attack and death threats.
