■ Nottingham Playhouse, in associatio­n with Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse and UK Production­s Ltd, have announced the full cast of the world premiere of Nesrin Alrefaai and Matthew Spangler’s stage adaptation of Christy Lefteri’s gripping best-selling novel, The Beekeeper Of Aleppo.

The production opens at Nottingham Playhouse on February 3 before heading to Liverpool Playhouse and then a national tour in the Spring and early Summer, including Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre from April 11 to 15.

Noel Gallagher‘s forthcomin­g outdoor concert in Dublin, which we featured in last week’s Celeb Diary, appears to be up in the air.

The gig at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham was due to take place on August 27 but a statement shared on Gallagher’s Twitter page by MCD Production­s stated,“the recent announceme­nt of Noel Gallagher’s 2023 outdoor concert at RHK Dublin was premature... and was due to over-enthusiasm on our behalf. MCD apologises... and we hope to be in a position to update you in due course.”

■ One of the biggest names in electronic music, renowned Swedish DJ Eric Prydz, will play his first Dublin show in 11 years at The Forbidden fruit Festival at The Royal Hospital, Kilmainham June Bank Holiday Weekend Saturday 3 and Sunday 4, 2023.

Joining Prydz in the line-up will be rapper Central Cee, one of the most-streamed hip-hop artists in the world, Japanese-british singer

Rina Sawayama and Mercury Prize-nominated rapper slowthai.

Longitude returns to Marlay Park this summer from Saturday, July 1 to Sunday, July 2 — and the first round of acts have just been announced. Global superstar producer and DJ Calvin Harris will headline Saturday night — his first show in Ireland in 10 years.
