WILL KIRA’S MEDDLING GET HER IN TROUBLE?
IKira is put out when she discovers Hayley has let Jon work at Mccoys while Mondo grows wise to Kira’s meddling with Jon and Melanie.
He tries to assures Kira he’s not interested in Melanie but still Kira purposefully fails to pass on a message from Jon to Hayley about missing work.
And later she is delighted when her plan to turn Hayley against Jon seems to have worked.
Meanwhile, Mondo presents
Kira with a romantic Valentine’s gift — a locket declaring his love for her — but he is sceptical that
Kira is finished meddling in Melanie’s love life.
And later, Melanie is annoyed by Kira’s insistence that she still has feelings for Jon.
Alex, too, is curious about Hayley and Jon’s burgeoning relationship, but Hayley maintains they’re just friends.
Later, though, she is given pause for thought when Kira attacks Jon’s character.
And Jon confronts Mondo about Kira badmouthing him to Hayley.
Jon confronts Mondo again about Kira’s badmouthing, but Mondo urges him to take it up with Kira.
Mondo is forced to accept Jon’s help after injuring his foot. And while awaiting treatment in the medical centre, Mondo tells Jon a few home truths.
Elsehwere this week, Orla warns Paul not to get used to her bailing him out.
Paul is jealous when he sees a Valentine’s card to Orla from Lenny as the pair agree to try and sort things out on neutral ground.
Orla later informs Mairead of her hope that she and Paul will be able to split amicably.
And when she receives a text from Lenny wanting to meet, Orla asks Paul to swap Valentine’s cards to keep up appearances for the kids.
However, relations remain fraught between Paul and Orla and Paul is stunned when Fidelma questions him about assaulting Lenny.
And Orla delights in making Paul sweat over what she’s going to tell the guards about the altercation with Lenny as Paul worries when Orla suggests that she’s dobbed him in to the guards for assaulting Lenny.
This pair plays dirty.
