Singer Michael Buble will make his return to Ireland with the Higher 2023 Tour for two fully-seated shows at 3Arena on Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14 — his only

Irish shows this year.

Buble was a winner at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards this year, winning Best Traditiona­l Popvocal Album for Higher.

A limited number of tickets went on sale last week for the show, which is set to be a

thriller.

■ Personalit­y Bingo with Tom Moran is back for Season 2. After a four-year hiatus, Tom Moran is back with new questions, new guests, and more.

From ‘Have you ever seen a ghost?’ to ‘What does love feel like to you?’ and a new spin-off question added every episode, Tom chats with his podcast guest for 60 minutes.

Bord Gáis Energy Theatre has announced Dancing on Ice finalist and Coronation Street star, Faye Brookes, is to join the cast of Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical which will make its Irish premiere this summer.

Directed by Craig Revel Horwood and starring Strictly Come Dancing champion Kevin Clifton, the muscial is set to sweep Irish audiences off their feet when it comes to the theatre from May 29 to June 3, 2023. Tickets are on sale now from €20 through Ticketmast­er.

Ground Ensemble will embark on a special performanc­e in Dublin’svicar Street on Friday, October 20.

Martin Hayes’ soulful interpreta­tion of traditiona­l Irish music has been heard on concert stages all over the world.

He has toured and recorded with the late great guitarist Dennis Cahill for over twenty years and also with The Martin Hayes Quartet and the seminal Irish American band, The Gloaming, both of which he founded.

Tom Grennan has announced a live show at Fairview

Park, Dublin on Friday, June 30, 2023. Irish language film ever nominated for an Academy Award for Best Internatio­nal Feature, will be recognised at the Us-ireland Alliance’s Oscar Wilde Awards.

Director Colm Bairéad and producer Cleona Ní Chrualaoí will be on hand to accept the award for the film.

The annual event is being held on March 9 at Bad Robot, the Santa Monica production company of J.J. Abrams and Katie Mcgrath.

Also being honored on the night are Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon (Banshees of Inisherin); Jessie Buckley, a previous Academy Award nominee (The Lost Daughter) and currently seen in Women Talking; and Eve Hewson, who will receive the award presented to a rising talent.

Her performanc­e in John Carney’s new film, Flora And Son has received rave reviews.

John Conroy is also nominated for an ASC award for an episode of Westworld.
