A Daisy CLAIM

- By Rachel Beresford

In this week’s trip to the cobbles, Amy wakes up hungover and with no memory of how she got into bed. In the garage, meanwhile, a hungover Aaron feels wretched. As the youngsters meet at Speed Daal for lunch, Aaron tells Amy he’s struggling too, things went too far and they shouldn’t have slept together.

Amy, meanwhile, reels in shock at the enormity of his revelation.

Having made up with Summer, Aaron catches up with Amy on the street and begs her to forget about their drunken sex.

When Amy asserts that she was far too drunk to consent, Aaron goes all out to convince her that she wanted sex as much as he did and they’re equally responsible for what happened.

But Amy knows he’s lying.

Meanwhile, having had an awful night’s sleep and missed her lecture, Steve worries about Amy. And, unable to come up with an excuse, Amy agrees to meet Summer for a drink, but when she realises Aaron is there too and has invited a mate, she makes excuses and leaves.

And when Summer reveals that she’s hoping to go to Manchester University to be near Aaron, Amy bristles and advises her to look further afield, leaving Summer bemused.

And later, making out again that he was as drunk as she was, Aaron begs Amy not to tell Summer that they slept together.

Elsewhere this week, when Fiz and Tyrone pop home for a romantic lunch, they find Hope there who’s skipped school.

As Fiz steps towards her, Hope flinches and begs her not to hit her.

Stunned, Fiz and Tyrone accuse Beth of slapping Hope then lying about it.

A contrite Beth hands Fiz a letter for Hope. Fiz reads it and promises to pass it on.

Meanwhile, on Maria’s advice, Beth sets out to remind Kirk that she’s a good person underneath. As she shows him some mementos from their relationship and tells him how much she loves him, Kirk’s touched, but asks for more time.

Later, Beth assures Kirk that she’s chucked Marco’s letter away, but they continue to row. However, when it gets to the point of Kirk moving out, they realise it’s not what they want and agree to put their differences behind them.

Aware that she’s been avoiding him lately, Faye agrees to a night out with her dad.

But when her phone buzzes with a message from Jackson, she quickly covers.

Meanwhile, Daisy meets for lunch with her mum but when Christina introduces her new boyfriend, Daisy’s horrified to realise it’s Justin!

Fearful that he may have found out the date of their wedding, Daisy calls the venue and reschedules.

Later, the owner of the boutique calls at the pub and tells Daisy that they’ve had a call from Justin accusing her of assault and they’re no longer prepared to lend her a dress as the publicity could damage their reputation. Daisy’s gutted and when Daniel makes light of it, Daisy’s furious and storms off.

Back at No.1, she hears the doorbell and when she checks her app, she is horrified to see it’s Justin.

She orders him to clear off but when she returns to the living room, she’s shocked to find Justin standing there, having got in the back door.

Later in the week, Daisy psyches herself up for the Stalking Protection Order hearing and when Dee-dee addresses the court, she points out to the judge that Justin has failed to attend.

Daisy delivers her statement, describing how Justin has made her life a misery, when suddenly the door to the court opens and Justin enters.

He tells the court that there seems to be some misunderstanding, as he made friends with Daisy, and he’s not a stalker.

Will Daisy get the SPO?
