DEAN’S VAN LIFE IS UP IN THE AIR...

-

In Carrigstown this week, Leo simply can’t let go and arranges for Ray to secretly check the roadworthiness of Dean’s van.

Dean, though, is wise to Ray’s unsubtle attempts to get intel on who serviced his van but is also worried when Dearbhla flags a serious problem with the van’s engine.

Ray agrees to give the van a once-over but Dean’s uncertainty about van life begins to grow.

Louis, meanwhile, decides to take Dean under his wing to teach him about ‘van life’, despite Dean’s resistance.

But life gets harder for Dean when Renee refuses to let him use The Hungry Pig’s toilet facilities, and makes her disapproval of van living clear.

Still, though, Louis continues to offer Dean unsolicited advice for living on the road.

Dolores, meanwhile, tries to keep the peace as Dean and Renee continue to butt heads over the van.

And Dean scolds Louis for leaving his van unlocked, and warns him to stay clear.

Later, though, Louis prevents a break-in to Dean’s van, but Dean won’t let it deter him from van-living.

He tasks Louis with finding him a parking space for the van after

Renee warns him that his van can’t stay parked on the street.

Elsewhere this week,

Damien tells Rafferty about Maxine and Mccabe’s previous relationship while Hayley and Rafferty agree to remain civil.

Later, Maxine misplaces her work

notebook — which holds incriminating evidence against Damien — and believes that Mccabe has stolen it.

Meanwhile, Rafferty tells

Sharon that Damien was questioned by the Guards as Hayley proposes that Rafferty sold Damien out, but Sharon refuses to believe it.

Damien, meanwhile, is convinced Zak set him up but is unsettled when Mairead suggests it was Rafferty.

And Hayley is on the warpath when Rafferty hits out at her double standards regarding Aidan.

Mairead and Hayley, meanwhile, are eager to send the incriminating USB recording to Mccabe.

But Damien is reluctant to implicate Rafferty, fearing reprisal from Aidan. But will this all change when he learns he’s going to be charged with receiving stolen goods and Mairead informs Maxine that he may be facing up to 10 years?
