From towering festive firs to twinkling light displays, many celebrities go all out when it comes time to deck the halls. And, in the process, turn their homes into winter wonderlands that even Santa would approve of. This week, we’re taking a look at some of the celebs who are known for going all out with their Christmas decor…
The Kardashian-jenner family has always splashed the cash when it comes to the holiday season.
From their annual Christmas parties to their family Christmas cards to the festive displays in their homes, it’s pretty much a guarantee that they go all out — and over the top — when it comes to Christmas decor.
But nobody does Christmas decorating quite like Kris Jenner.
In 2015, Kris is said to have spent an estimated $157,000 to deck the halls — including a 20-foot Christmas tree, with two slightly smaller trees — and the following year, she went all out for Kandyland.
The matriarch of the Kardashianjenner family partnered with Jeff Leatham, a floral designer in Los Angeles who has worked with the Karjenner family on many of their Christmas decorations, for the display.
It included a series of six giant nutcrackers leading up to the front door, with a giant fir decorated with peppermint swirls — and two other, smaller tress — on either side.
A garland with colourful Christmas lights was draped over the railing going up the stairs.
And the display also included a giant red geometric bear, which was sat in front of three smaller Christmas trees.
Kris told Architectural Digest,“one of the fun things is just deciding on what the theme of the tree is going to be because that sets the tone for the entire house.”
And in 2017, Kylie Jenner decked the hall with a 20-foot tall Christmas tree, covered in snow and giant pink decorations.
The make-up mogul shared a glimpse of the tree on Instagram, where she thanked Leatham and his team for the festive display.
She said,“thank you @jeffleatham & his team for making my XMAS dreams come true! 20 feet of magic! Even more perfect in real life …”
The same year, Nicky Hilton Rothschild shared a glimpse into her family’s home
and their holiday decorations — and it looks like they were getting into the swing of things extra early that year.
The snap, which was shared before Thanksgiving, showed a stunning snowcovered tree decorated with silver and gold decorations. An equally as sparkly garland framed a nearby doorway, with icicles dangling from the ceiling.
Nicky captioned the snap,“clearly my mother does not think it’s too early to put up Christmas decorations.”
Tom Fletcher got into the festive spirit a little earlier than planned in 2020, when his wife, Giovanna, was in the I’m A Celeb jungle.
The author took to Instagram to share a snap of their Christmas decorations that year, which included colourful baubles of all sizes lining the doorway and the roof and a gorgeous tree in the background.
He wrote,“ok, so you remember I said to @mrsgifletcher that I wouldn’t put the Christmas tree up until she was out of @imacelebrity? ...OOPS!
“I can’t thank @earlyhoursltd enough for transforming the house today. With Mumma away and 2020 being, well,
2020, I wanted to make the home as Christmassy as possible for the kids... ok, it’s for me mainly but the kids love it too!”
Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright kicked off the Christmas festivities early in 2020 as the Brassic actress shared a series of snaps of their winter wonderland.
Two nutcrackers stood outside the entryway, on either side of a festive garland that surrounded their door.
The garland matched the decorations on the tree inside — with red-and-white peppermints and candy canes scattered throughout, alongside red baubles — and a gingerbread house topped off the festive display.
And the couple have seen their home, which they completed renovations on earlier this year, compared to an iconic
Christmas film. Their house was decked out in lights around the windows and roof, with two Christmas trees sitting outside. There were also two reindeer sculptures around the entryway to their home, and a green garland draped around their porch.
What appears to be a towering tree, decked out in strings of twinkling lights, can be seen inside.
Their social media followers compared the festive design to the Home Alone home — and the couple thanked the company, 4 Season Events, that put the display together.
They wrote,“tis the season. They’ve done it again @4.seasonevents came at the weekend whilst we wasn’t in and created Christmas magic.”
When it comes time to deck the halls, Sophie Hinchcliffe — also known as Mrs. Hinch — definitely knows how to turn an area into a winter wonderland.
Last year’s decorations included a red and gold colour scheme on the tree, with a massive garland hanging around the door — with baubles and twinkling lights scattered throughout it.
Two small trees were placed on either side of the door, which had a holiday wreath hanging on the front.
Inside, two garlands — packed out with more Christmas decorations — hung on the banisters heading upstairs.
She later shared a video of their towering Christmas tree as they celebrated their first Christmas at Hinch farm.
And back in November, Rylan Clark shared a glimpse at his home’s Christmas makeover this year.
The entryway to his house has a massive silver garland draped over it, with icicles and glitter balls amongst the decorations.
The This Morning presenter told his followers how it was“never too early for a glitter ball”as he thanked Early Hours London Ltd, the company behind the design, in the caption of the post.
