NO CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

-

In the Christmas trip to Emmerdale, Charles gets Chas to open up about her loneliness and the effect Aaron’s behaviour is having on her.

Soon, after Aaron has an altercation with Chas, a seething Charles orders him to show his mother respect.

But when Aaron goads him, a scuffle ensues.

A sheepish Charles returns later to apologise to Chas for his outburst and Chas is happy she’s found a friend.

Meanwhile, Aaron entices Ethan into Mill, seizing a chance to get in with Charles’ son.

However, Aaron soon crosses the line when he humiliates smitten Ethan in front of his dad.

Elsewhere, Will is stunned when

Kim confirms that she played a part in Craig’s death.

Telling her side of the story, she hopes for forgiveness but Will’s left feeling utterly betrayed.

And he has a decision to make when Kim urges him to keep her secret.

The next day, Will is stunned when he finds a drunken Kim slumped against Dawn’s birthing pool.

When she rushes off to puke, Will worries about the state Kim has gotten herself into.

Meanwhile, Mary sets about helping a grief-ridden Gus with Ivy but her concern for him and Ivy grows when a call from the funeral directors further highlights that he is struggling to cope.

And Rhona’s desperate for news when she catches Mary slipping out to see Gus and Ivy.

Knowing it’s for the best, Mary downplays Gus’ struggles. But at Gus’ house, she’s increasingly concerned as it’s clear Gus is reaching his absolute breaking point.

Later, Rhona’s jaw drops when Mary arrives home with Gus and Ivy in tow.

Marlon’s equally surprised when he sees his new house guests.

The next morning, things are tetchy at breakfast after a night of little sleep due to Ivy’s cries.

Rhona tries to keep the peace but it’s clear Marlon is lacking patience.
