A FIGHT WEDDING!

-

Ahead of the wedding in the Dales this week, Tom is thrown when Belle says she doesn’t want to take his surname.

She offers a reasonable explanation and Tom is thwarted. But the next day it weighs heavy on Tom’s mind and eager to make him happy, Belle agrees to become Mrs King.

Plans are soon afoot for Belle’s night at Wishing Well ahead of her wedding and she’s emotional ahead of her big day due to the absence of both her parents but Tom’s hurt — reminding her neither of his parents will be there either and he storms off in a mood.

It’s the day of the wedding and Belle’s not heard from Tom and doesn’t even know if it is going ahead as Tom continues to ignore her calls.

Although Lydia and Mandy do their best to rally her, Belle worries it is off.

Meanwhile Jimmy tries to give Tom perspective and soon Belle’s relieved when Tom texts to confirm the wedding is still on.

Now able to enjoy her wedding day, she enjoys being fussed over by Lydia and Mandy.

And there’s excitement amongst the guests as they prepare for the wedding outside the church. And just in the nick of time, Sam arrives to give Belle away, bringing a letter from Lisa with him.

But Tom’s frustrated by the Dingles’ oddities as the ceremony commences.

As the couple prepare to take their vows and after a couple of minor hiccups, they finally get wed.

Later, Belle and Tom take some time to greet their guests after the ceremony as the Dingles celebrate in typical Dingle style — much to Tom’s chagrin.

And the rowdy Dingle traditions begin to grate further on Tom at the wedding reception.

Suddenly, intent on causing mayhem, Ruby interrupts the reception sending it into disarray — and Tom’s fuming that Belle’s wild family has seemingly ruined their big day.

This really is a marriage doomed from the start...
