In this week’s trip to Carrigstown, Hayley worries when she’s unable to get in touch with James but Anto decides he’s done trying to help Hayley.

Sharon, however, pleads with him to maintain contact.

Later, Maxine relays Rafferty’s delight at the raffle outcome to a tense James and Hayley worries when James continues to ice her out.

Carol’s jibes, meanwhile, fail to get under James’ skin and when James invites Erica and Doug for a celebratory drink, Erica hides her discomfort at the prospect of leaving baby Nora with Pete for the night.

And Erica’s worries are compounded when Pete gets defensive about his painkiller use and she is conflicted when Pete reminds her of her promise not to tell Doug.

Hayley, meanwhile, feels confused when James showers her with affection and praise.

And Carol is on the warpath when Anto suggests that Hayley may still have feelings for James.

She puts Hayley on the spot and asks her if she still loves James.

Hayley denies she has any feelings left, but Carol is not convinced.

Elsewhere, Pete panics when a comment from Dolores has him suspecting Erica is going to break his confidence.

Desperate to control the narrative, Pete tells Doug about Erica’s accusations and Erica is furious when Pete tries to gaslight her about overreacting.

Later, Doug refuses to accept Erica’s accusations about Pete as Pete accuses Erica of trying to create a divide within his family. Fuming, Erica decides to sift through the rubbish to find evidence of Pete’s addiction.

And later, Doug is stunned as Erica presents him with evidence of Pete’s pill problem as Pete is caught out but still he denies the accusations.

Finally this week, Damien informs Mairead that he’s going to Munich for a few days to see his daughter.

And Mairead says something she regrets when she gets into a heated exchange with him over their finances.

Orla tries to console Mairead, but is intrigued when she learns Damien’s sleeping in the spare room so she gives him a shoulder to cry on and insists he and Mairead will sort things out.

Later, when Orla learns that Damien’s back from Germany, she purposefully gives Mairead bad advice, urging her to keep more financial transactions from Damien.

And Mondo surprises Kira with plans for a weekend away in Paris.
