A WHOLE LAURA DRAMA THIS WEEK

-

In this week’s trip to Carrigstown, the memorial for the murder victim grows while the investigation gets a potential breakthrough when phone data suggests the victim was a Croatian national.

Fidelma remains eager to learn from Buckley, and they prepare to canvas the area while Georgie and Ronan are embarrassed after their candid conversation in the pub.

But Georgie is grateful when Ronan covers in front of a probing Sharon.

Damien, meanwhile, arranges a lunchdate with Mairead and Dolores to take their minds oƒ the murder.

When Buckley asks Sash and Carol for CCTV footage from around the time of the attack, Carol, Sash and Mairead speculate on the latest developments in the case when they witness Fidelma and Buckley exchanging terse words.

Georgie sees how the case is aƒecting Ronan personally and encourages him to take care while Fidelma and Buckley discover through phone data that the murder victim may be related to Damien.

Damien is horrified when Buckley informs him that the victim may be his sister, Laura.

As Buckley and Fidelma question Damien, he’s ashamed to admit he hasn’t been in contact with Laura for months.

Later, a devastated Dolores does her best to support Damien while his brother Mark arrives back in town.

Damien continues the search for Laura, creating a missing persons page, but Mark is worried that he is in denial.

And later, when Buckley and Fidelma confirm that the DNA was a match, and the victim is Laura, Damien is devastated and takes his grief out on Fidelma and

Buckley, criticising them for not having any leads.

Later, Damien and Mark share their guilt over not staying in touch with

Laura.

Also this week, a guilty Kira phones to check in on Mondo but is relieved when he doesn’t pick up.

Victor, meanwhile, is paranoid that

Orla suspects something but Kira tries to convince him otherwise.

Orla advises Kira to nip the aƒair in the bud while Cass and Ray discuss what makes a murderer.

As internet sleuth Ruby gossips about the murder with Sean, Babs asks Victor to spend more time at home with the family.

Kira assures Victor that Orla is not a threat to their aƒair.

Finally, with Mondo still working away, Sean oƒers to keep Kira company for the night, but she declines. And Orla is concerned when Kira admits that she has developed feelings for Victor.
