Cooper is Kein’ to keep Davis fresh
FOREST boss Steve Cooper is getting Keinan Davis ready to frighten Liverpool in the FA Cup.
Davis (below) scored twice in the destruction of relegation-haunted Reading and was than subbed ready for Wednesday’s visit of QPR.
Cooper will probably give Davis an early cut in that one too as he builds up his match strength for four days later when Liverpool are at the City Ground and a Cup semifinal place is up for grabs.
Forest will have to put on a sensational performance to beat one of the best club sides in the world but Keinan is looking a match winner.
Loan
He’s on loan from Aston Villa for the rest of the season and Davis says he’s in dreamland playing so many games for Forest.
Injuries held up Davis at Villa, where he made 22 first team starts, for three goals, after joining from non-League Biggleswade seven years ago.

But now he’s off the leash, getting match fit by the game, and has four goals in 10 appearances.
“It’s a dream for me, 100 per cent, to be playing games regularly for a club like Nottingham Forest,” said Davis.
“You don’t get many clubs like this, especially in the Championship. This is my opportunity to express myself.
“I am looking forward to the Liverpool game, but we focus on Wednesday first and QPR.”
He was on a hat-trick but Cooper brought him off to a standing ovation.
“Davis is not used to playing game after game and we are managing him as he gets stronger,” says Forest boss Cooper. “He has a lot of potential.”
Ryan Yates and sub Sam Surridge piled in more goals for the home side.
