river run is a bonus

1.35 — Con go River We run two, and Age Of Kings has had the benefit of a run. He was just touched off by a horse with experience at Naas.
However, I ride newcomer Congo River. He is a pretty expensive Mendelssohn colt with a lot of speed in his pedigree, and he has been pleasing us at home.
2.10 — Blackbear d Our two here are unbeaten and full of potential.
The filly Deneuve did very well to win for me at Naas, but the form hasn’t worked out and Blackbeard boasts the better form.
I think he beat a decent sort over 5f here last time, and the step up to six furlongs can only be a positive.
3.20 — Ivy Lea gue He ha s made a mountain of progress since I finished sixth on him on his debut in a maiden here in March and we were delighted with him at Leopardstown last time, stepping up to Group 3 company on the back off a handicap win off 84.
He will get further, and he is still in the Derby, but I think you will see him take another big step forward here. Of course, that may not be enough to get near Native Trail, but let’s see.
3.55 — Wor dsworth
My co lt holds pretty strong form claims.
He wasn’t beaten far in the Sagaro Stakes at Ascot last time and he showed last season that he is fully effective over 1m4f as well. There is no reason why he shouldn’t be going close.

1.40 — Never Ending
Story
Never Ending Story is bred for the part, being by Dubawi out of Athena, on whom I won the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks a few years back.
Hopefully she will show up well on debut.
2.40 — High De finition
Lor d North and State Of Rest probably bring the best form to the table.
Our pair have plenty to prove but Broome is a very high- class performer when on song as he showed in his Breeders’ Cup Turf second last November.
He picked up a bad injury after the Japan Cup though, so he may need this.
I ride the High Definition, and he clearly needs to progress a good deal to get near the form horses.
3.10 — Thunder Bea uty SHE needs to improve to get into the shake- up here but she looks to have run well on her return at Lingfield, and in fact she may have gone close to winning there had she got any racing room in the final furlong or so.
She was a good 2yo when trained here, winning at this course and finishing fifth in the Moyglare.
3.45 — Tuesday just touched off by Discoveries here in her sole start at two, she won on her reappearance at Naas and we went to the Guineas hopeful of a big run.
Tuesday excelled in finishing third for Frankie, stepping up on her previous efforts, and Cachet upheld the form when just touched off in the French equivalent.
We expect this sister to Minding to get further down the line and she’s in the Oaks, but I can see a mile around here suiting her even better than Newmarket.
5.20 — Ark
We are four- handed in here, and I ride Ark. We perhaps expected a little bit more from her at Leopardstown last time, but she didn’t run badly, and hopefully the blinkers will sharpen her up.
