the opening semi-final looks wide open. heat winner Youandmebabe came from last to first when winning in 29.00 so another effort like that is required.
I’ll go for Ballymac slick in trap six for team Dowling as he ran a good race behind Valderrama.

she is up in grade but with 10 wins on her card, she will put in a good spin. Gold Cup finalist neon nite will be fancied as he was unlucky at the first bend in the final for trainer Ian reilly against winner Boylesports Coco.
Foggy Bottom will be fast away no doubt from trap two but neon nite might just have the edge.

We were lucky enough to see the track record being smashed in the opening round by hawkfield abbie and last week in the second round we had an exciting dead heat between rathmoyle Gerry and Faypoint Jet.
all three of these greyhounds meet in the opening heat tonight with preference given to the John F Mcgee trained hawkfield abbie.
this well-bred daughter of Good news-brownstown tango clocked a stunning 29.91 in the opening round, setting a new track record over the 550 yards distance.
she missed the break last week but was strong on the run home to grab third place, only beaten two and a half lengths.
